Work is nearly finished on Burton Road, outside the Craven Lodge development, to install a new traffic island. This is a much needed traffic calming measure and will clearly benefit pedestrians.
The question is though, why is this island going in shortly after the island on Burton Street, outside the Anne of Cleaves was taken out?
