South Melton Action Group is a campaign group of residents in the south of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. Together we aim to promote effective care for our local environment by promoting and championing sustainable and sensitive development – both for people and for business.
South Melton Action Group is an online space where people with a commitment to South Melton can discuss their passion for enriching the quality of life for people who visit Melton, who work in Melton, who study in Melton, and especially, who live in Melton Mowbray.
At present this site is under development, so some of the features might change as we think about how they work, but please also follow SMAG on Facebook and Twitter by hitting the links in the menu above.
You can now sign-in to the site, but for the first few weeks we are going to be watching out for spam users and spam posts. We will be posting house rules soon, so for now the simple guidance is: keep it family friendly, keep it lawful and respect one another.
If you have your own photographs from around South Melton that you want to share we would love to see them in our galleries. They can be up to date or from times gone by, showing how much South Melton has changed, and the events that people have enjoyed in the past or are enjoying today.
