Last week I caught up with Owen Williams who works at De Montfort University Library. We discussed how Open Source applications and systems help foster collaborative learning and working, and how the DMU Commons project is helping to generate debate and discussion across the university. Owen’s passion for collaborative and innovative thinking has a resonance with the collaborative approaches being developed in other parts of the university, including DemonFM and the DMU Square Mile project.
