A new pedestrian crossing has been installed on Burton Street in Melton Mowbray. The crossing has been installed immediately in front of the Anne of Cleaves pub. Many people have complained to SMAG that the crossing now spoils the view of Melton’s main heritage assets, St Mary’s Church and Bede House. The traffic island in the middle of the road has been removed.
